Horse Guards Parade in London was the scene of Monday’s launch of Marussia Virgin Racing’s Partnership with the ‘Cars 2′ movie for this weekend’s British Grand Prix. In front of the massed ranks of media and F1 and movie-going fans alike, Richard Branson and his daughter Holly appeared together with Cars 2 stars Lightning McQueen and Finn McMissile as well of one of the UK based Formula One team’s race cars. Cars 2 will be one of the major themes of Marussia Virgin Racing’s home race campaign this weekend, as you will see across the whole team’s look and feel and on and off-track activities, including the Marussia Virgin Racing Weekend at Stowe, details of which can still be found at Follow the action all weekend at www.MarussiaVirginRacing.com, @MarussiaVirgin on Twitter and on Facebook.
Marussia Virgin Racing drivers Timo Glock, Jerome D’Ambrosio, Sakon Yamamoto and Robert Wickens went down a storm as they prepared for what was a rain-soaked four hour Grand Prix that will certainly go down as one of the most eventful races ever.

Interviews with journalists, on-stage appearances and getting out on the streets is all part of the job. Here’s a backstage view of Robert’s first public appearance as a Marussia Virgin Racing driver.
