More than 250 journalist from 34 different countries visited the Maranello factory for the Formula Ferrari Press event. Ferrari CEO, Amendo Felisa, addressed the journalists to explain the innovations and developments in Ferrari recently.
For the first time ever, the Ferrari test mules, transformed and camouflaged vehicles that are used to develop new models and are normally scrapped once they have served their purpose, have been put on display. The Museum has rescued some of them and restored them to their original condition to create a unique exhibition which also showcases other Ferrari vehicles which have been put to the test in harsh, extreme conditions: the protagonists of the big world tours like the F355 which completed a round-the-world tour in 1997 and the stars of the big tours in China, India and North and South America.

The first round of the season in the World Endurance Championship, where the AF Corse team holds the GTE Pro title and starts with two 458 GT2s, was held in Silverstone. Out on the track went Gimmi Bruni and Giancarlo Fisichella and for the first time the duo formed by the Finnish expert Toni Vilander and the first Japanese racing driver in Maranello, Kamui Kobayashi.
The Corse Clienti Racing Days were held on the weekend of 14 April at the Interlagos circuit with the 458 Challenges, the F1 Clienti and the XX programmes. The weekend’s highlight was the Formula 1 show, where the Scuderia Ferrari greeted the fans present at the track.
