Lewis Hamilton has admitted that his new Mercedes car is not as strong as the McLaren he drove last season.
Lewis Hamilton completed 121 laps today for Mercedes AMG, the equivalent of 563 kms, on the second day of the Barcelona test. The car ran reliably throughout the day, allowing to gather plenty of data about exhaust alternatives and tyre compounds.

Caterham's Charles Pic was again driving the CT03 at Barcelona today, completing a solid 102 laps. There were only minor isues with the car but Pic reckons there is still a lot of work to do to ensure the car performs as Caterham would want it to.

Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel said he was pleased with Red Bull’s progress despite having his running halted twice because of reliability issues on day two of the Barcelona test. Vettel, 25, was forced to suspend his running during a race simulation run in the afternoon session to investigate a hydraulic pressure issue and then the German brought out the red flag after stopping on the exit of the pit lane with a loose wheel.
